ACTION: Final and Interim Rules
SYNOPSIS: The Federal Acquisition Secretariat is issuing FAC 2005-36 to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) in the following areas: (1) Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS); (2) Fair Labor Standards Act and Service Contract Act Price Adjustment Clauses; (3) new Designated Country - Taiwan; (4) prohibition on restricted business operations in Sudan and imports from Burma; (5) list of approved attorneys, abstractors, and title companies; (6) Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) administration and associated FAR clauses; and (7) technical amendments.
DATES: The effective date for these rules is August 11, 2009, except Items I, II, and V, are effective September 10, 2009. Comments on Item III should be submitted no later than October 13, 2009.
