ACTION: Interim and Final Rules

SYNOPSIS: The Federal Acquisition Secretariat is issuing FAC 2005-52 to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) in the following areas: (1) sustainable acquisition; (2) contract closeout; (3) prohibition on contracting with inverted domestic corporations; (4) Buy American exemption for commercial information technology construction material; (5) oversight of contractor ethics programs; and (6) technical amendments.

DATES: The effective date for these rules is May 31, 2011, except Items II and V are effective June 30, 2011.
