ACTION: Final and Interim Rules
SYNOPSIS: The Federal Acquisition Secretariat is issuing FAC 2005-66 to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) in the following subject areas: (1) definition of contingency operation; (2) changes to time-and-materials and labor-hour contracts and orders; (3) extension of authority for use of simplified acquisition procedures for certain commercial items; and (4) technical amendments.
DATES: The effective date for these rules is February 28, 2013, except Item II is effective April 1, 2013.
