ACTION: Final and Interim Rules
SYNOPSIS: The Federal Acquisition Secretariat is issuing FAC 2005-67 to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) in the following subject areas: (1) contractors performing private security runctions outside the United States; (2) contracting officer's representative; (3) phase 1 implementation of System for Award Management name change; (4) compliance by nondefense agencies with defense procurement requirements for interagency acquisitions; (5) terms of service and open-ended indemnification, and unenforceability of unauthorized obligations; (6) price analysis techniques; (7) contracting With women-owned small business concerns; (8) deletion of report to Congress on foreign-manufactured products; (9) implementation of the United States – Panama Trade Promotion Agreement; (10) updated postretirement benefit references; and (11) technical amendments.
DATES: The effective date for these rules is July 22, 2013, except Items V, VII, and IX are effective June 21, 2013.
